FFA Host Toy Show For Scholarships

Funds were raised for scholarship dollars used by an area FFA Chapter yesterday in Oneida.
The chapter at ROWVA High School held their annual Toy Show in the high school’s gymnasium.Rows of toy tractors were put on display with the proceeds helping to raise funds for the FFA chapter, and for cancer research.
FFA Advisor Rodney Main tells WGIL the Toy Show has evolved into a social gathering, but they’re able to provide six scholarships from the revenue.

“If they’d been a good solid FFA member, taken part and learned and grown professionally and personally through their time in high school, they’re a better individual then when they came. That’s what were after and it’s a reward for them.”

Several vendors were unable to show up due to the weekend weather.
Area youth were also able to participate in a tractor pull to help attract them to an FFA chapter down the road.
Many chapter alumni were in attendance to help support yesterday’s Toy Show.
