CHICAGO (AP) — The snow is moving out of the Chicago area, but it’s leaving behind a few hundred flight cancellations at the city’s two airports.
According to the aviation tracking website FlightAware.com, airlines canceled 290 flights in and out of O’Hare International Airport, which got about 3.6 inches of snow.
At Midway International, airlines had canceled 66 flights as of about 8 a.m. Wednesday. Midway recorded 6 inches of snow.
Before the storm moved on, high winds sent snow whipping around and dramatically reduced visibility.
