A Galesburg man faces a number of charges, and was injured after his car crashed late Friday night in rural Warren County. Illinois State Police based in Macomb say the crash happened around quarter to midnight Friday night one mile west of Cameron in Warren County.
Troopers say 21-year-old Tanner Adams was headed eastbound on 180th Avenue when his Chevrolet Cavalier crossed the center line and entered a ditch. They say the car then rolled over several times, struck a power pole, and came to rest on its top, causing Adams to be ejected.
Reports indicate Adams was taken to OSF Saint Mary Medical Center in Galesburg with what were termed “moderate” injuries.
Adams faces charges of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident, Operating an Uninsured Vehicle, and Failure to Wear a Seat Belt.
It’s not clear if Adams is still hospitalized, or when he might appear in Warren County Circuit Court.
