Police responded to Broadview Inn & Suites and located both the victim and a second victim in the hotel with the help of a hotel employee.
The men were bleeding profusely from their heads when officers began investigating the situation.
The victims explained they were at “Showgirls” earlier in the night when they invited two erotic dancers for drinks at their hotel room. They left their room number with the women and, around 5:00 a.m., heard a knock at their hotel door.
One of the victim’s said he saw the two women from the establishment at the door, but after letting them in, both men were attacked by another male subject with a blunt metal object. According to the police report $150 was also stolen from one of the victim’s wallets.
Investigators were able to locate a car jack at the scene along with trails of blood in the hotel room.
The victims were transported to an area hospital for treatment where head staples were required.
Police reviewed the hotel’s security footage and recognized 32-year-old Kenwaun Murray as the possible perpetrator. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
Murray could be facing charges of aggravated battery causing bodily harm and armed robbery.
