New Services Being Offered to Warren County Residents

Warren County residents are now being offered two new services through the County Clerk and Recorder’s office.

County Clerk Tina Conard says in a news release that one service, called DirectSearch, is an Internet program that allows someone to search for Warren County land records online.

According to the release, the documents can be searched by name, recorded date range, document type, document number, or parcel number. This service is provided at no cost.

Records can be searched as far back as January 1st, 1985. Getting copies of any documents will, however, cost you $5.95 per search and an additional 50-cents per copy.

The second service is designed to help property owners protect themselves from property fraud and everyone protect themselves from identity theft.

According to the news release, the County Clerk and Recorder’s office are taking proactive steps and providing residents with a free service that can help them see if any fraudulent documents have been opened in their name.

Residents can checkout the website

At the site, a visitor would be given the opportunity to sign up for fraud alerts either by phone or e-mail.
