Two more people prosecutors say were involved in a robbery back in March on the edge of Galesburg city limits have been arrested in the case.
Knox County Circuit Court records indicate a grand jury indicted 20-year-old Danny Britt and 18-year-old Keyon Drain earlier this month.
The two both face Class-X felony counts of Armed Robbery, along with charges of Armed Robbery Conspiracy, Aggravated Robbery, and Robbery of a Handicapped Person.
Galesburg Police have said officers were called to the 2,000 block of South Lake Storey Road in mid-March, after a victim told officers a man later identified as 19-year-old Kedrick Dickerson pointed a gun at them, and got away with the man’s cell phone. The phone was later recovered, but police say the gun never was.
Dickerson faces similar charges, and could go on trial as soon as next month. Britt and Drain are jailed on 150-thousand dollars bond apiece. Drain will be back in court today for a first appearance with his public defender. Britt makes a similar appearance Monday.
