Caitlin Chrzanowski will take over for the outgoing Kate Lansaw, who announced her resignation earlier this month.
Chrzanowski is the current manager of the Richland County Farm Bureau, and is a 2014 University of Illinois Graduate.
Knox County Farm Bureau President Tim Main says, over the years, the bureau has been fortunate to have great candidates come from the universities training program.
Main tells WGIL, that Chrzanowski is no exception.
“She obviously comes from that background,”says Main.” She originated through the program with Illinois Farm Bureau, and she’s also got a year of manager experience in Richland County, so, her experience brings a lot to the county.”
Main says it was a priority for the bureau to find a replacement for Lansaw, whose last day will be July 17th.
Chrzanowski will assume the role July 27th. Her duties as manager will include coordinating programs with volunteers and staff. Main says with the departure of Lansaw “it will be big shoes to fill,” but he’s excited, and knows Chrzanowski will do a great job.
Main added that Lansaw has been a great help, “making the process a smooth transition.”
