Galesburg Police so far have no suspects in a case of shots fired reported at 21 Club, early Sunday morning.
Officers responded to the bar a little before 1:30 a.m. Sunday to 74 N. Chambers St.

Police reports say officers entered the bar to see a trail of blood, a broken table and several damaged pool cues. A single shell casing was found by police in a parking lot west of the club.

Later, officers responded to a home where an individual who parked near the club had a bullet hole in the rear passenger side of her vehicle.

One man who officers spoke with and observed with a bloody shirt held up to his head at the bar earlier went to the Cottage Hospital Emergency Room. He told police he had been struck by a pool cue while leaving the bar.

Medical personnel say he walked into the ER under his own power but soon went unconscious and was found to have severe head trauma.

His heart rate dropped “dangerously low” before being transported via LifeFlight helicopter to OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
