A man with an unknown address appeared in Knox County Circuit Court yesterday after being arrested for distributing child pornography.
A warrant was issued Tuesday for 20-year-old Dalton A. Ryan. Ryan is charged with one Class X count of dissemination of child pornography.
Court documents indicate the man distributed a film that showed a minor under the age of 18 engaging or simulating sexual penetration acts.
The video is believed to have been distributed in June. Judge Stephen Mathers set bond at $250,000. Ryan is expected to hire a private attorney and will return to court for a first appearance October 14 at 9 a.m.
