Nationally recognized journalist Sasha Issenberg will offer fresh insights into the presidential election at Monmouth College tonight.

Issenberg, who is an author and a contributor to Bloomberg Politics, will speak at 7 p.m.

The speech will take place in the Whiteman-McMillan Highlander Room in the Stockdale Center.

His latest book, “Victory Lab: The Secret Science of Winning Campaigns,” focuses on effective methods for reaching voters in campaigns.

Monmouth political science lecturer Robin Johnson says Issenberg is one the most outstanding experts on campaign analytics.

Johnson says the presidential debates are going to be critical in winning over undecided voters.

Issenberg is also the Washington D.C. correspondent for Monocle magazine. He’s coming to the college after covering last night’s final presidential debate.

The reporter wrote about the 2012 presidential race for Slate Magazine and covered the 2008 election for the Boston Globe.
