John Ring is a retired Galesburg firefighter who was the Sports Editor and covered Galesburg sports for the Zephyr for 22 years. He now cover small school sports for the Knoxville Bulletin. Myron Miller is the Fleet Superintendent for the City of Galesburg. His department maintains and repairs anything and everything with a motor or engine that the city owns.
