Stray Cat Lee Rocker headlining Orpheum tonight

The Orpheum Theatre will be rocking tonight for the first show in their 2017-18 Red Carpet Series.
Lee Rocker, double bass player for the legendary rockabilly trio band, Stray Cats will headline the legendary theatre with the show set to start at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are available for a range of sections, with floor and balcony seats going for $25 and the mezzanine for $30.

Stray Cats pawed all over the music charts particularly in the early 80’s with hits like “Rock This Town” “Sexy and 17” and their biggest, “Stray Cat Strut”.

Rocker whose real name is Leon Drucker, has the distinction of being a part of only the second father-son duo to be nominated for Grammy Awards the same year.

He shares that honor with his father, Stanley Drucker, a retired principle clarinet with the New York Philharmonic.

The artists Rocker has shared the stage with could fill a wing in the Rock Hall of Fame with names like George Harrison, Ringo Starr, Leon Russell, Keith Richards, Carl Perkins and Scotty Moore.
