A new exhibit at the Caterpillar Visitors Center in Peoria highlights some of the earliest history of what has become “Big Yellow.” Benjamin Holt founded Holt Manufacturing Company, which later merged with another firm to become Caterpillar. Holt is the subject of a new exhibit called “Benjamin Holt: Tracks around the World.” Lee Fosburgh, Caterpillar’s Heritage Services Supervisor, talks about the exhibit with Will Stevenson on Galesburg’s Evening News.
