“The Galesburg Silver Streaks even their record once again now 13-13 on the season and 3-4 in the Western Big 6 after a win on the road at Alleman, 43-17 was the final score. Galesburg jumped out to a 15-8 lead at the end of the first quarter, they out scored the Pioneers 24-4 in the middle two quarters shutting out Alleman in the third, and were able to cruise through the 4th to a victory. Andrea Sampson led the way scoring wise with 11 points including three 3-pointers. Our Dave’s Autobody Crunch-Time Player of the Game was Emily Meinert who had 9 points overall and really got the Streaks going early on in the game. Galesburg did out rebounded Alleman 33-19 and only turned the ball over 11 times in this game. The Streaks move to 13-13 on the year and 3-4 in the Western Big 6 while Alleman falls to 8-16 for the year and 0-9 in conference play.”
