The Knox County Sheriffs Department says an investigation has led to the arrest of a Knoxville man for allegedly having child pornography.
Officials say deputies arrested 47-year-old Jerald Ray Turner Friday morning at his Eiker Drive home, on a warrant charging him with 15 counts of Possession of Child Porn.
They say an investigation has been ongoing into the matter, leading to a search warrant and two arrest warrants being obtained.
When Turner was arrested, deputies say they seized what they called several items containing evidence.
Turner is being held in the Knox County Jail on $1 million bond pending future court dates.
Deputies — who say their investigation continues — cited the help of the Illinois Attorney General’s High Tech Crimes Bureau.
