Henry Cho has been specializing in stand-up comedy for over 30 years. He’s been featured in such films as Revenge of the Nerds III in 1992, 1997’s McHale’s Navy, 2001’s Say It Isn’t So, and 2006’s Material Girls. Cho has appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and a 2006 Comedy Central Special that also featured Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall, and Larry the Cable Guy. The Knoxville Tennessee native makes regular appearances on the Grand Ole Opry and was the keynote speaker for the 59th Annual Radio & Television Correspondents’ Dinner. Cho tells WGIL what audiences can expect at his shows. “It’s adult humor, it’s just clean,” Cho said. “We don’t make anybody uncomfortable. That’s why my tour is always called the “funny but clean comedy tour.” When people hear “clean comedy” they think – it must be kinda silly. My opener is Aaron Webber. Aaron’s coming up from Nashville. Aaron’s on the move. And all my openers are clean too. You can bring your grandmother….you can bring your 8-year-old…” Tickets for tonight’s 7:30pm show are on sale now at the Orpheum Theatre Box office or online at Galesburg Orpheum website.
