The Galesburg District 205 school board approved the hiring of a new Athletic Director to take over after the resignation of Jeff Flater. Knoxville native Eric Matthews will take over A.D. duties after 12 years as Activities Director at Farmington Central Schools. Matthews joined Tom Meredith on “Galesburg’s Morning News” to talk about his experience and expectations.
