Three people — two of whom are from Iowa — are jailed in Knox County after they were caught with an allegedly stolen vehicle.

The Knox County Sheriffs Department says a deputy located a vehicle at the Oneida apartment of 24-year-old James Pryor on Tuesday. The vehicle was later determined to be stolen from Clinton, Iowa and registered to an address in Mount Carroll, Illinois.

Turns out, sheriffs department officials say, they along with a number of departments in Iowa and Illinois have been investigating a series of thefts.

They say the investigation is ongoing, but so far, Pryor, along with 22-year-old Toni Bousman and 24-year-old Kayla Turner — both of Clinton — have all been arrested on two felony counts each of Possession of a Stolen Vehicle. The three are in the Knox County Jail, and have preliminary hearings scheduled for December 10th.

Officials say anyone with information on any vehicle thefts should call the Knox County Sheriffs Department or Galesburg-Area Crimestoppers.
