Galesburg Silver Streaks Boys Basketball vs Macomb Bombers

Here is a recap of the game from WGIL’s Brad Bennewitz:

The Galesburg Boys Basketball team employed a full court deference for nearly the entire first half and the result was 10 Macomb turnovers as well as a 38-18 half time lead, and the Streaks really didn’t let up in the second half on their way to a 61-28 win over the Macomb Bombers, increasing the Streaks record to 5-2 on the season. Galesburg had three players in double figures led by Justin Endthoff, our Dave’s Autobody Crunch-Time Player of the Game who finished with a career high 18 points, knocking down four straight 3-pointers in the first and second quarter to help the Silver Streaks build that big first half lead. Keith Cunningham finished in double figures with 15 points and 7 rebounds while Jaylin McCants walked away with a double-double consisting of 11 points and 11 rebounds. Galesburg’s next game comes up on Friday when the Streaks head to Alleman to face the Pioneers with the Sophomore game starting at 6:00pm, Varsity pre-game begging at 7:06pm, and Varsity tip-off getting underway at 7:30pm.
