Galesburg Silver Streaks Girls basketball @ Fox Lake Grant Bulldogs

In game two of a doubleheader today, a good one for the Galesburg Silver Streaks as they defeat the Fox Lake Grant Bulldogs 50-25 in what ended up being a continuous clock game. Streaks had a good game from the start leading 15-7 at the end of the first quarter, out scoring Grant 10-3 in the second, and went on to dominate from that point. The Silver Streaks were able to force 16 Grant turnovers while handling the ball fairly well themselves with only 8 Galesburg turnovers for the game. It was Riley Jenkins who led the Streaks in scoring with a couple of 3’s and four field goals finishing the night with 14 points. Our Dave’s Autobody Crunch-Time Player of the Game was Lauren Livingston who did a great job running the show for the Streaks as Daija Range was not available today. Lauren also had a key 3-pointer which really got the Streaks going early in that 3rd quarter and she walked away with 11 points on the night. The GHS Silver Streaks now advance to 8-5 on the season with the 50-25 victory over Fox Lake Grant Bulldogs.
