Maestro Brendan Townsend will be the third finalist to audition and will be guest conductor for the Knox-Galesburg Symphony this Saturday night at the Orpheum Theater. A native of Cork, Ireland, Brendan has spent the past 16 years in Laredo, Texas. He is currently the Conductor and Music Director of the Laredo Philharmonic Orchestra as well as Music Director at Texas A & M International University. Brendan joined Tom Meredith on “Galesburg’s Morning News” to talk about this weekends’ concert and his career.
