Henderson Co. Sheriff looking for missing 16-year-old

Henderson County Sheriff’s Office says that a missing teenager has been found.

According to Chief Deputy Matt Link, Payton Watson was found alive and well.  “No foul play is suspected at this time. An investigation continues,” according to a press release from the sheriff’s office.

The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a 16-year-old girl that has been missing since Sunday night.

Chief Deputy Matt Link says that Payton E. Watson’s cell phone was last pinged in the Monmouth area.

She is described as 5’04” and 120 pounds. It is not known what she was wearing as of Sunday night.
