A Galesburg man is facing Class X meth delivery charges after police discovered over 100 grams of ice meth in his “crotch” Wednesday morning.45-year-old Forest Norville was eastbound on Monmouth Boulevard just after 1 a.m. Thursday on a motorized bicycle, when officers say they began following him and would pull him over for riding in the middle of the roadway and also knowing he had a suspended license.

Norville said he was just getting off work at The Patio bar and acknowledged his license was suspended and had been arrested twice previously for riding the bike on a revoked license.

Police arrested him on the charge and as they were searching him discovered a “black digital scale with white residue”, and a zip-lock baggie of various pills.

Officers then found in his pants, a black pouch containing six empty zip-lock bags.

As police continued to search his pants they found a “hard foreign object” in between his legs and pants.

When asked what was in his crotch, he admitted, “dope” and said it was “up there pretty far.”

Galesburg officers took Norville to the Knox County Jail where a Sgt. with the Knox County Sheriff Correctional Division “retrieved” two bags of meth and handed them over to GPD.

The meth weighed out to 115 grams.

Norville is facing Class X felonies of meth delivery and possession, as Class 4 counts and a pair of misdemeanors.

Bond was set at $100,000 and he’ll be back in court for a preliminary hearing on May 6.
