WGIL’s Galesburg Live for Saturday, April 27

Will Stevenson hosted the Saturday, April 27th edition of WGIL’s Galesburg Live.

In the first hour, Will spoke with Galesburg 7th Ward Alderman Jeremy Karlin.  Karlin opted not to seek another term, and will turn his seat over to former Public Works Director Larry Cox.  Karlin will talk about his time on the council and his future plans. (Due to time considerations, the final part of the conversation with Ald. Karlin will air Monday night (4/29) at 5pm on Galesburg’s Evening News.)

In the second hour, Will’s guest was Jeannie Weber, Executive Director of the Warren County United Way.  The first ever Julie McVey Reading Day is coming up soon — thanks in part to two of the late McVey’s longtime friends:  Kendra Preston and Evy Lipecka, who also joined us.

Galesburg Live airs Saturdays 7-9am on WGIL, WGIL.com, and WGIL on the TuneIn Radio app.
