State Police looking at construction zone traffic violators differently

If you drive in the area of the construction of the new Interstate 74 bridge in the Quad Cities, you’ve no doubt seen Illinois State Police on patrol.  But, State Police say they’ve noticed that once drivers are out of the area of the troopers, drivers go right back to violating state law regarding driving in construction.  So, as District 7’s Safety Education Officer, Trooper Jason Wilson, tells Will Stevenson on Galesburg’s Evening News, troopers will start becoming one with the construction workers there.
