Sheriffs, including Knox County’s Clague, want “Scott’s Law” penalties increased

The Illinois Sheriffs Association — including Knox County Sheriff David Clague, who is currently the Association’s president — are calling for enhanced penalties in Illinois for violations of “Scott’s Law”.  It’s also known as the “Move Over Law,” and makes it against the law for motorists to not slow down and move over a lane if emergency vehicles with their lights flashing are on the side of the road.  Clague talks about that and other issues with Will Stevenson on Galesburg’s Evening News.
