The Levitt AMP Galva Music Series is offering a free summer youth photography mentorship. There are still openings for junior high and high school age youth who are interested in learning photography skills. This free mentorship program will run Sundays from June 2nd through August 4th and will cover all the basics of photography–no experience required. Students will have a chance to photograph at Levitt AMP Galva Music Series concerts alongside mentors who will critique work and help guide with composition and editing photos. Photos taken have the possibility of being included in national marketing and are eligible for entry in the photo contest scheduled for the final concert on August 4th. To sign up or for more information call (309) 631-7252. The Levitt Amp concert series in Galva kicks off on Sunday, June 2nd with “stomp-rockers” 4OnTheFloor with the Ragbirds.
