There’s a new coffee shop on Main Street in downtown Knoxville. Although the official grand opening won’t be until a week from Saturday, “Beans & Things” the family-owned spot has already been selling pastries and helping locals get their coffee fix. Owned by Beth and Bernie Windom, Beth told the Register Mail they felt there was a need in Knoxville for a coffee shop and it’s something they’ve always been interested in doing. They went on to tell the paper that so far support in town has been great. The shop is open Tuesday through Saturday from 6:30 am to 2:00 pm. Located at 226 East Main street – the official grand opening of Beans & Things will be Saturday, June 29th.
