Western Illinois Animal Rescue president talks about cats rescued from local home

Monmouth-based Western Illinois Animal Rescue helped Monmouth authorities rescue what is now believed to be close to 80 cats from a home there — most described to be in very dire health situations.  That’s in addition to the difficulties to the small organization has in helping to care for the cats (how you can help provide much-needed supplies is below).  But, they’re doing it nonetheless.  WIAR president Dan Porter gives Will Stevenson the latest on Galesburg’s Evening News.
