The Galesburg to Peoria St. Jude Run will take place this Saturday. This is the first and oldest of the satellite runs. It’s in conjunction with the St. Jude Telethon. The runners will start at the parking lot across from the Orpheum Theater at 6:00 Saturday morning. They’ll make their way across route 150 to the Peoria Civic Center. This is a fundraiser for St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Heather Knicker, Pam Orwig and Leslie Meyers joined Tom Meredith on “Galesburg’s Morning News” to talk about the event and St. Jude.
