A post on social media this week which later disappeared questioned Galesburg High School allowing a transgender student, identifying as female, to use the girls’ locker room. The student has later been publicly identified as Ali McDorman. She’s of of the children of Holly McDorman, who joined Will Stevenson on Galesburg’s Evening News to share the stories of support that have since been received, and about how she helped form a new Galesburg chapter of the national PFLAG organization.
