Knox County Health Department continues as local LIHEAP administrator

For the second year, the Knox County Health Department is again the local administrator of the funds distributed through the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program, or LIHEAP.  While you’d generally think of it as a way, if you qualify, to pay for your Ameren bill during the winter months, it can also help pay the bills if your home is heated through LP, or through another energy provider like Corn Belt Energy.  Wil Hayes, Assistant Administrator, and Erin Olson, Director of Wellness and Health Promotion, talks about it with Will Stevenson on Galesburg’s Evening News.
