Fat Fish Pub welcomes Elizabeth Cook to the stage Friday, December 6th. Elizabeth Cook is a Nashville-based Singer-Songwriter from Wildwood, Florida. As a critically acclaimed live act and recording artist, she’s also a veteran SiriusXM Outlaw Country Radio DJ, hosting her own show for the last 10 years. Cook is also a favorite of David Letterman, a regular performer on the Grand Ole Opry, and a frequent guest star on Adult Swim’s long-running hit cartoon series “Squidbillies” on Cartoon Network. “This is a solo tour,” Cook told WGIL. “The smaller rooms are just more conducive to me – kind of getting really in touch with the people that are in front of me and tell stories. It’s more relaxed, but it can also be more intense. It’s a show that I just started doing two years ago and I was challenged to develop, but I love solo tours.” In addition to several other nominations, Cook won Outlaw Female of the year award at the Ameripolitan Music Awards in 2014. Cook will be joined by Richmond, Virginia native, and Nashville-based, alt-country singer/songwriter Andrew Leahey. Tickets for the 8:00 pm show are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.
