Hello Families and Students! We are delighted that you are a part of our Knoxville Schools Family.
Here are just a few words about our main PTO-Sponsored School fundraiser…

HELLO BIG BLUE BULLET BLITZ!
What is the BIG BLUE BULLET BLITZ? Our MINI-BLITZ will be a fun-filled morning planned for all students on the morning of Friday, Sept. 14th which includes various activities, treats and excitement. Our students collect pledges (per lap) or flat donations and will spend approximately 30 minutes walking, jogging or running around our track. In addition, we will host a **Big Blue Bullet Blitz 5k/1mile Fun Run on the morning of Saturday, Sept. 15th **!
**This will be our 4th annual event and is a one-of-a-kind event for the area! Walkers and runners will get BLITZED with COLOR throughout their run!!
We will also enjoy a COLOR-FILLED post race celebration.
We are excited to invite Knoxville and its surrounding communities to join us in the fun in an effort to fundraise for Mable Woolsey Elementary School!**
When and where? MWES Mini Blitz on Friday, September 14th at the Knoxville Community Sports Complex from ~ 8:30am-10:30am Knoxville Community Big Blue Bullet Blitz on Saturday, September 15th at 7:30am at the Knoxville Community Sports Complex; followed by a post race celebration in the parking lot of the complex!
What to wear? All students wear their favorite blue and gold t-shirts for the Mini-Blitz on Friday, Sept. 14th. Be sure to wear a white t-shirt or tank for the GET BLITZED color splash on Saturday, Sept. 15th. In addition, a special event t-shirt will be given as part of the 5k registration fees that day.
Who can come? Everyone is welcome to come to this great event!
Why do we coordinate this event? We hope to raise more than $18,000 to help fund many programs and events that our PTO sponsors such as: student and classroom enrichment programs, student clubs, field trips, teacher, playground improvements and more!
