Friends of the Library Spring Book Sale

The Friends of the Library will be hosting their Spring Book Sale at the Galesburg Public Library on May 20, 21, and 23, 2016.
The Friends have changed the days for this Spring’s book sale to attract more participants.
The Friday Preview Sale will be held on May 20 from 4 to 7 pm. The event is FREE for members of the Friends of the Library. The charge is $5.00 for non-members. Prices will be from 50 cents to $2.00, depending on the book.
The Saturday Sale on May 21 will be from 9 am to 4 pm. Prices will again be from 50 cents to $2.00.
On Monday, May 23, Friends will host their $3.00 Bag Sale. A grocery store bag can be purchased for $3.00 and be filled with books. More than one $3.00 bag can be purchased.
Monday’s sale will begin at 9 am and conclude at 1 pm.
The Friends hold two book sales each year with all proceeds going back to the Library for above-budget needs. All of the dues for being a member of Friends of the Library also go back to the Library to cover specific needs.
The Galesburg Public Library is located at 40 East Simmons Street, Galesburg. The Book Sale will be held in the Sanderson Conference Room not he Second Floor. An elevator is available to take patrons to the second floor.
