Man Accused in Drug Ring Faces Court Date
A Galesburg man says he's not guilty of charges accusing him of being part of a drug distribution ring busted up last month in Galesburg.

35 year old Kyle Kaminski was in Knox County Circuit Court for an arraignment hearing Wednesday, and he pleaded not guilty and asked for a trial by jury through attorney James Mitchell.

Kaminski, 27 year old Chaston Gomez, 23 year old William Powell, and 38 year old Forest Norville all face Cannabis Trafficking charges, along with counts of possession of cannabis and Possesion of Cannabis with Intent to Deliver.

They were arrested in early December after police agencies received word of a shipment of marijuana being delivered to Norville's Indiana Drive home.

Kaminski has been described as the ringleader in previous court appearances.

The pot allegedly delivered to Norville's home totals around 10-thousand dollars.

Kaminski will be back in court April first for a pre-trial hearing, with a possible trial a few weeks later.

Powell could be at trial as soon as Tuesday. Gomez will be back in court in February fourth for a pre-trial hearing, and Norville faces a March fourth pre-trial hearing date.
