Authorities Need Public's Help In Solving Gun Thefts
Authorities in Henry County are asking for the public to be on the lookout for some stolen guns -- some of which were stolen several months ago.

Henry County CrimeStoppers says the thefts have authorities, quote, "worried."

They say someone over Thanksgiving weekend broke into a garage in the northwest portion of Galva and stole three weapons -- two shotguns and a hand gun. They have no leads in the case, other than someone seeing a tan-colored sport utility vehicle in the area.

On the opposite end of Henry County, CrimeStoppers says, someone stole two rifles and some accessories from a car parked in Andover.

That incident, they say, happened sometime this past weekend.

Anyone with information on either of these can call Henry County CrimeStoppers at 1-800-227-2324. Authorities say stealing guns increases danger to the public.
