Pay Raises and Contract Extensions for CSC Administrators
Much like a few months ago with faculty, administrators now at Carl Sandburg College have their own contract extensions and pay raises.

The CSC Board of Trustees Thursday night approved contract extensions for college president Lori Sundberg, and vice presidents Julie Gibb, Steve Norton, and Samuel Sudhakar.

Each received pay raises of nearly 4%-- the same pay raises teachers got as a result of what the college terms a rolling contract extension back in November.

College officials say that's a part of the collective bargaining process that was undertaken with the Sandburg Education Association.

Sundberg's contract now expires in 2017, while the extensions for the three vice presidents would expire in 2016.

Public records indicate Sundberg's salary now stands at just under $167,000 a year as a result of the negotiations.

Gibb, by the way, is the college's Vice President of Academic Services, Norton is Vice President of Student Services and Athletic Director, while Sudhakar is Vice President of Administrative Services and Chief Information Officer.
