Celebrating Presidents Day With Our 16th President
Friday night the Orpheum Theatre will be transported back to the time of the Civil War.

A time when the Country was divided and Abraham Lincoln was in the White House.

An Evening with the Lincolns is sponsored by the Galesburg Heritage Days as a fundraiser for this years Heritage Days Festival.

Heritage Days board member Judy McCoy tells WGIL the show's about an hour long and focuses on some major events in the Linconl's political and personal lives.

"It will cover the first four years in the White House. Their getting ready to go to the Ford's Theatre, and then they're talking about how they got together, their children, and their political lives," says McCoy.

The show will end with Mary Todd Lincoln speaking about her years after the Presidents death.

There will be an question, answers portion where you can either talk to the actors or President Lincoln and his Wife Mary Todd Lincoln.
