Library Board Holds Special Meeting
The Galesburg Public Library Board has provisionally approved their contract with FEH Architects.

Library Board President Martin Reichel says as long as the attorneys don't find any issues with the contract the board is good to go.

Reichel tells WGIL nothing too major stuck out to the board as being a major problem with the contract.

"They fell within the range, there were some things we didn't you know realize like some extras that we thought might have been included in the basic price, but actually cost extra. But on the whole we're happy with out architects and I think they're going to do a very good job for us."

Reichel says the board has not heard back from River City Construction regarding the boards questions about their contract.

No contract has been signed with River City Construction at this time.

The board is still working on their grant application and Reichel says that's due in Mid April.
