A Milestone for the Young Professionals of Galesburg
The Young Professionals of Galesburg and the Galesburg Area Chamber of Commerce are teaming up for a very special event.

A Chamber Business After Hours event is being held in honor of the YPG's fifth anniversary.

Executive Director of the Galesburg Chamber of Commerce Steven Brody tells the WGIL Morning News the event is designed to help the YPG expand their reach in the community.

"You don't have to be just a YPG member anybody who's affiliated with the Chamber of Commerce any business member, owner is invited to come. And we're also opening it up to young groups as well like Knox College they've got a business club and there's a couple of other organizations cuz it's going to be an opportunity to introduce them as well to the Young Professionals of Galesburg."

The President of YPG Christina Landon says there are several YPG events planned for this year--including one next Tuesday.

According to YPG's Facebook page because this year marks the organizations fifth anniversary membership to the YPG is only five dollars all year long.
