Four Arrested in After School Attack of GHS Student
Four teenagers were arrested Tuesday for allegedly attacking a student at Galesburg High School.

A Galesburg Police report indicates 18-year-old Lisa Vann, 17-year-old Chamese Dotson, 17-year-old Keith Scott, and a juvenile are facing charges of Aggravated Battery in a Public Place and Mob Action. Vann, a non GHS student, and Scott, an expelled student, are each facing an additional charge of Criminal Trespassing.

Police say the victim was stepping onto the school bus after school when she was allegedly pulled back and battered in the head and face by Dotson. They say Vann, who was pushing her baby in a stroller near the loading zone, came and allegedly punched the victim to the ground.

Scott and the juvenile are then suspected of kicking the victim's head and body. According to the police, a friend pulled the victim up from the ground, and the four suspects fled the scene when the bus driver came over. The victim sustained only minor injuries.

All four suspects were located later by police at Subway's on North Henderson. Three of them are being held in Knox County Jail, while the fourth is in the Mary Davis Home. Each of them are awaiting their initial bond hearings.
