Arrests Friday at Cornerstone Music Festival
Three people, two of which were from the Quad Cities area, were arrested early Friday on criminal charges after they apparently tried to cause trouble at an annual religious music festival outside Bushnell.

The Fulton County Sheriffs Department says security personnel at the Cornerstone Music Festival called deputies to the grounds Friday after three people allegedly were caught drinking alcohol on the festival grounds.

Police say 19-year old Tyler Scannell of Silvis, 20-year old Kenneth Mickelson of New Windsor, and 17-year old Nyle Drobushevich of Indianapolis all face charges of Possession and Consumption of Alcohol. Police say the latter two were also handed trespassing charges after being found to be in possession of fake armbands to the festival.

Scannell, authorities say, faces additional drug possession charges following a search.

Scannell posted bond and was released from the Fulton County Jail, while Drobushevich and Mickelson were issued notices to appear in court.

All three will be in Fulton County Circuit Court later in July, and deputies say those are the only drug-related arrests made during the six-day festival which ended Saturday.
