Bomb Threat Temporarily Closes Wal-Mart
Add Galesburg to the list of cities in the South and Midwest that have Wal-Mart stores receiving bomb threats.

Galesburg Police say the threat was called in to the Wal-Mart at the Seminary Square Shopping Center around quarter after six Friday night. Employees and shoppers evacuated the store while police and fire investigated.

The store was closed for about an hour before the all-clear was given and everyone could return inside.

No bomb was found and no suspects are in custody. Anyone with information should call Galesburg Police or Galesburg-area CrimeStoppers.
