The Discovery Depot Gets A New Look
The Discovery Depot is taking on a three year renovation project that will hopeful bring in new visitors and bring back some of the old ones.

The last time the Depot had renovations made to it was back in 2008 when they added an out door play ground.

Executive Director of the Discovery Depot Denise Bradburn tells WGIL the extent of the renovations.

"What we're doing is updating and upgrading down here at the Depot. We're starting with the exterior and we're doing an exterior upgrade, then we're coming inside the interior and we're updating the museum floor inside to give a whole fresh look inside and outside."

Bradburn says they are looking to start the project the end of this year beginning of next year.

She says the Depot will be open during the exterior upgrades but will be closed when the upgrade the inside.

Bradburn says they will look to do that construction during the Depot's slowest months.
