Recycling Pick Up Days Change
Starting next month residents who recycle will see a change in their recycling pickup days.

Operations Specialist for Waste Management Dave Armstrong tells WGIL the changes will only affect recycling and people should've received information in the mail regarding their pickup dates.

"Basically what we did was we took each day and cut that route in half," says Armstrong. "Everybody received just last week a 2013 recycling and refuse guide."

Armstrong says they've started dropping off the new bins this week and next.

He says currently recycling will continue to be picked up every week until December 10.

December 10 is the first day the new bi-weekly recycle schedule will go into affect for those who received their new bins this week.

The week of the 17 will start the new schedule for those go get their new bins next week.
