Car Fire Works On Paper
A paper delivery route ended with a car fire Sunday morning in Galesburg.

Galesburg Police responded to the 900 block of Hawkinson Avenue after two individuals called officers at the behest of 46 year old Chastity Wilson.

According to the report Wilson crossed the street just after 5:30 a-m, running and yelling, to tell the two individuals her car was on fire.

Wilson initially reported smoke and flames coming from the interior of the vehicle before calling for emergency assistance.

The Galesburg Fire Department extinguished the blaze - which reportedly worked it's way out from the interior of the car.

When interviewed by police, Wilson was unable to identify a possible cause of the fire.

Her car was towed from the scene.
