Saturday Sports Round-up

The Galesburg High School Boys Baseball Team defeated Dunlap 7 to 1 today to win their Regional Tournament at Sundburg Field. The winning pitcher for Galesburg was Tim Rossell. The Streaks will now take on the winner of the Yorkville Regional Wednesday, May 30th at 6pm at the LaSalle-Peru Sectional Tournament. In other Sports: Galesburg High School's Travon Diggins placed first in the Long Jump in Class 2A at the IHSA State Track and Field Meet in Charleston. Knoxville's Matt Geitner placed 7th in the shot put at the IHSA Track and Field meet in Class 1A.
