Hitfest for Post 285 Tuesday

The Galesburg American Legion Baseball team routed Canton twice Tuesday night. In game 1, post 285 had a 20-hit attack as they beat Canton 17-0. Three pitchers combined for a one-hitter in that one. In game 2, the final was 10-0, taking Post 285 to a record of 25-10. They'll play at home Wednesday morning starting at 11 o'clock in the "Firecracker Classic" versus rival Moline.
