Sectionals are the highlight on today's high school sports schedule. The Galesburg boys are competing in Champaign, following last week's first place finish at the Quincy Regional. The Silver Streaks girls are in Normal, after they qualified by finishing second at the LaSalle-Peru Regional last Wednesday.

VOLLEYBALL

The volleyball schedule is light around the area tonight. The only games to be played are Knoxville at Sherrard; Williamsfield hosting Peoria Manual, and North Fulton entertaining Rushville.

COLLEGE NOTE

Monmouth College has announced that they will be inducting four new members into it's athletic hall of fame this weekend. Leading the list is former Fighting Scots football coach, and current Galesburg assistant Kelly Kane. Kane coached the Scots from 1984-99. Kane's teams compiled a record of 41-7 in a 5-year stretch from 1986-1990. Induction ceremonies will be held Saturday morning at 8:30 at Huff Athletic Center.
